TODOS SÃO MÉDIUNS
A faculdade mediúnica é inerente ao ser humano. Todas as criaturas a possuem, em maior ou menor grau. Todos somos médiuns, mas costuma-se chamar de médium a pessoa através da qual ocorrem, consciente ou inconscientemente, manifestações evidentes, ostensivas, sejam de natureza física ou intelectual. FINALIDADE DA MEDIUNIDADE
Para alguns é uma missão de que se incumbiram e cujo desempenho os faz ditosos.
Para outros a Mediunidade lhes é concedida, porque precisam dela para se melhorarem, para ficarem em condições de receberem bons ensinamentos, de praticarem mais o amor ao próximo e a caridade.
A mediunidade seja ela missão ou necessidade deve ser encarada como uma oportunidade que Deus oferece à criatura.
MEDIUNIDADE NÃO É PRIVILÉGIO
A mediunidade não e um privilégio, por isso, geralmente, os que mais necessitam são os que a possuem.
Não devem, pois, os médiuns se considerarem melhores que outras pessoas, nem tampouco a mediunidade ser motivo de vaidade e orgulho, mas sim, encará-la no sentido de tarefa, de serviço, de missão a ser cumprida, com alegria e desinteresse.
MÉDIUNS IMPERFEITOS
Entretanto, médiuns há que manifestam repugnância ao uso de suas faculdades.
São médiuns imperfeitos, desconhecem o valor da graça que receberam.
MEDIUNIDADE – INSTRUMENTO
Como vemos, a mediunidade pode ser considerada como verdadeiro instrumento de redenção da criatura humana, que, ao usá-la com dignidade e correção, tem oportunidade de exercitar as virtudes cristãs como a humildade, o perdão, o amor e a caridade.
Sendo uma faculdade como as outras que possuímos, pode de uma hora para outra sofrer interrupções, sendo suspensa temporariamente ou não mais funcionar.

1ª Advertência
MOSTRAR AO MÉDIUM QUE ELE É APENAS INSTRUMENTO
Quando os Espíritos que sempre se comunicam por um determinado médium deixam de o fazer, o fazem para provar ao médium e a todos que eles são indispensáveis, e que, sem o seu concurso simpático, nada se obterá.
Objetiva provar ao médium que ele é um simples instrumento e que sem o concurso dos Espíritos nada faria.
2ª Advertência
PELA FORMA DE CONDUTA DO MÉDIUM
No mais das vezes, a suspensão da mediunidade se prende à forma pela qual o médium vem se conduzindo, deixando a desejar sob o ponto de vista moral e doutrinário.
Ocorre quando o médium não está correspondendo às instruções dos Espíritos Superiores do ponto de vista moral e doutrinário.
Se o Espírito verifica que o médium já não corresponde às suas visitas e já não aproveita das instruções nem dos conselhos que lhe dá, afasta-se, em busca de um protegido mais digno (LM, 2ª parte, cap. 17, item 220, 3ª Questão)
3ª Advertência
QUANDO A MEDIUNIDADE É TRANSFORMADA EM PROFISSÃO
Os chamados “profissionais da mediunidade” não se agastam em receber pagamentos, quer sob a forma de dinheiro, presentes, favores, privilégios ou até mesmo dependência afetiva ou emocional.
4ª Advertência
QUANDO A MEDIUNIDADE SERVE AO MÉDIUM COMO FRIVOLIDADE
Ocorre quando o médium se serve da faculdade mediúnica para atender a coisas frívolas ou com propósitos ambiciosos e desvirtuados.
Como coisas frívolas, citamos a prática dos “ledores da sorte”. Infelizmente, este desvirtuamento da verdadeira prática mediúnica existe em larga escala, e, mais cedo ou mais tarde, tais médiuns terão que prestar contas ao Senhor da aplicação feita dos talentos recebidos.

Geralmente, a suspensão por advertência é por algum tempo e a faculdade volta a funcionar, cessada a causa que motivou a suspensão.
BENEVOLÊNCIA
1ª Benevolência
MOTIVADA POR DOENÇA OU ESGOTAMENTO FÍSICO DO MÉDIUM
Ocorre como um verdadeiro benefício ao médium por que evita que ele, quando debilitado por doença física, fique a mercê das entidades inferiores.
Quando as forças do médium estão esgotadas e seu poder de defesa fica reduzido, para que não caia como presa fácil nas mãos de obsessores, sua faculdade é suspensa, temporariamente, até que volte aos seu estado normal e possa exercitar com eficiência.
Os mentores espirituais não abandonam o médium que tem a sua faculdade suspensa, o médium se encontra então na situação de uma pessoa que perdesse temporariamente a vista, a qual, por isso, não deixaria de estar rodeada de seus amigos, embora impossibilitada de os ver. (LM, 2ª parte, cap. 17, item 220, 8ª Questão)

Assim que volte ao seu estado normal e possa exercitá-la com eficiência a mediunidade retornará.
Sendo assim, a interrupção da faculdade nem sempre é uma punição porque demonstra a afeição e solicitude do Espírito para com o médium. (LM, 2ª parte, cap. 17, item 220, 4ª Questão)
PROVAÇÃO
1ª Provação
Quando o médium, apesar de se conduzir com acerto, ter o merecimento por boa conduta moral e não necessitar de descanso, tem suas possibilidades mediúnicas diminuídas ou interrompidas, com que fim isto ocorre?
O objetivo é o de desenvolver a paciência, a resignação, experimentar a perseverança e forçar o médium a meditar sobre o conteúdo das comunicações recebidas.
Meditar, significa ler com atenção; procurar entender o verdadeiro significado do que lê, pensar cuidadosamente sobre o que aprendeu e buscar aplicar o aprendido
FIM DA PROVAÇÃO
Geralmente, este tipo de suspensão é por algum tempo e a faculdade volta a funcionar, cessada a causa que motivou a suspensão.
MECANISMO DE AUMENTAR E DIMINUIR A PERCEPÇÃO MEDIÚNICA
O desenvolvimento e o aceleramento dos chacras está ligado diretamente com a mediunidade.
Para que o médium assimile ou perceba mais o plano espiritual é necessário acelerar a velocidade do chacra correspondente a sua mediunidade.

Esse fenômeno é algo semelhante às correntes de ar frio que descem de nuvens carregadas de água e entram em choque com as correntes de ar quente que sobem da crosta terráquea, resultando nos conhecidos fenômenos atmosféricos dos ciclones, tufões ou redemoinhos de vento.
A quantidade de giro é proporcional, quanto mais elevada maior é a absorção de energias.
O aceleramento dos chacras deve se dar de forma natural e progressiva à medida que o homem promover o seu próprio crescimento espiritual.
Ao despertar o chacra coronário através da nossa espiritualização, de forma natural, irrigaremos com mais intensidade os demais chacras com energia espiritual, ativando nossas percepções espirituais de cima para baixo, dessa forma não correremos risco algum.
Para acelerar nossos chacras os espíritos superiores dependem da nossa reforma moral, porque se eles permitirem que entrem somente energia espiritual, certamente irá acelerar os chacras e haverá mais percepção espiritual, mas a pessoa não terá condições morais suficientes para administrar este dom.
A medida que formos melhorando a nossa moral os mentores espirituais alteram as telas de proteção dos chacras permitindo que entrem mais energias espirituais e físicas, dessa forma ocorre o aceleramento e em consequência aumentam as percepções espirituais, mas de maneira equilibrada.
Portanto, Dependendo da nossa conduta durante a encarnação, principalmente a moral, os chacras podem:
– ser acelerados para aproveitarmos mais a oportunidade que nos foi dada;
– ser desacelerados para evitarmos complicações por mau uso das percepções,
– ou sua velocidade ser mantida para que as percepções fiquem estacionadas enquanto tivermos algum problema de ordem moral a ser resolvido. Este é o caso de médiuns que passam anos sem ter avanço nas suas percepções.

Quando a suspensão se torna definitiva?
No caso de não mais funcionar a faculdade mediúnica, isto jamais se deve ao fato de o médium ter encerrado a sua missão, como se costuma dizer, porque toda missão encerrada com sucesso é prenúncio de nova tarefa que logo se lhe segue, e assim, sucessivamente.
O que ocorre nestes caso é a perda por abuso da mediunidade ou por doença grave.
O Médium com uma idade avançada perde a mediunidade?
Quando orientada para o bem pode fazer com que trabalhemos junto dela até uma idade avançada. Temos o exemplo de Chico Xavier. Não teremos a mesma energia ou a mesma quantidade de fluidos, porém, a sintonia permanece permitindo que continuemos a ser instrumentos dos bons espíritos.
Há algum impedimento de mulheres grávidas participarem de reuniões mediúnicas?
Não é aconselhável. O processo reencarnatório do Espírito é uma experiência delicada que envolve muitos aspectos energéticos e psíquicos. Um deles é o estado psicológico da mãe que, sem sombra de dúvidas, se altera por alguns meses, enquanto aguarda a chegada do Espírito que lhe foi encaminhado como filho. Sabe-se que, nas atividades de intercâmbio espiritual, há toda uma movimentação de fluidos energizados, podendo haver gastos que poderá ser prejudicial para a mulher em estado de gravidez. Além disso, há o aspecto do reencarnante. É sabido pela ciência oficial da extrema importância do equilíbrio e interação mãe-filho desde o ventre. Por conta disso é prudente que se isente a mulher grávida das tarefas da mediunidade. O melhor que ela poderá fazer será cuidar de ter seu bebê em paz. – cobrar monetária ou moralmente pelos bens que eventualmente possa obter pela faculdade mediúnica.
O médium que emprega mal a sua faculdade está se candidatando:
– a ser veículo de comunicações falsas;
– a ser vítima dos maus Espíritos;
– à obsessão;
– a se constituir em veículo de ideias fantasiosas nascidas de seu próprio Espírito orgulhoso e pretensioso;
– à perda ou suspensão da faculdade mediúnica.
